FCT residents pay Buhari Christmas homage

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory have paid the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), a traditional Christmas homage in Abuja.

Buhari received the visitors, who were led by the Minister of the FCT, Mr Mohammed Bello, at the Presidential Villa, about 3pm.

Bello told the President they were at the Villa to send Christmas felicitations and to thank the Federal Government for all the support the FCT had received from his regime so far.

Those on the delegation included Senator Philip Aduda, Christian and Islamic leaders as well as traditional rulers.

Buhari, while thanking the visitors, said he was committed to improving infrastructure in the country and to keep by constitutional provisions in pursuing the policies of his regime.
