It is Time to move Kogi State forward from its current state of Inertia-Prince Mona Audu

Barely few days to the kick-off of the 2019 General elections, UNITY TIMES Emmanuel Daudu engages one of the major contenders to the Lugard House in Kogi State, Prince Mustapha Audu, a real estate developer/entrepreneur, son of the former governor of the state, Late Prince Audu Abubakar. Excerpts:

Please can we meet you?

Ans.

Good morning, my name is Prince Mustapha Mona Audu, I am the son of the legendary Prince Abubakar Audu.

I am real estate developer with internet in Agriculture, sports, cleaning, Mining and Logistics. Basically an all round entrepreneur.
I am happily married with three daughters.

Q2.

. Why do you think politics is the right thing to do now?

Ans.

I feel Nigeria needs competent leadership especially in Kogi State and if the best of us are not involved then our affairs will continue to be mismanaged.

Q3.
What political experience have you garnered before your ambition?

Ans.

I’m a veteran of the 4th republic, I have been through four Kogi State Gubernatorial elections, 2007, 2008, 2011, and 2015 and this will be my 5th Gubernatorial election. I have been through every stage of the electoral process from the formation of the parties such as ACN and APC in Kogi State, I am a founding father of APC in Kogi State.

Q4.

Why are you interested in governing kogi state even at its poor state of economy?

Ans.

Kogi State is by far the wealthiest state in Nigeria, Kogi State needs a leader with the understanding of how to tap its resources to generate massive wealth for the good of the people and the nation, it is Time to move Kogi State forward from its current state of Inertia.

Knowing too well that you are young and able to deliver perhaps, if given the mandate what areas are you specifically interested in to serve the masses?

Ans.

Rapid Human Capital Development
Focus on the youth and women Empowerment. These will be my 3 main areas of attention but I will work assiduously on every other sector. Given my entrepreneurial and real estate background, developing the state infrastructure is also a priority.

Q6.
What advice do you have for kogites in regard to your ambition?

Ans.

Kogite should vote wisely, embrace peace, without Peace there can never be progress. We are all brothers and sisters, no more war, no more division, no more east, no more west or central. Kogi first, Kogi for All.
