Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is currently presiding the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting with many ministers in attendance.
The Acting President started the meeting 10am against the usual 11a.m commencement time when President Muhammadu Buhari is presiding. In the past, many of the cabinet members always stay away from such meetings when the President was out of the country. But the story was different as over twenty-three ministers were in the Council Chamber few minutes after 10a.m when the meeting started.
Recall that Osinbajo had on Tuesday sacked the Director-General of Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura, as a result of the unauthorization of the siege to the National Assembly.
