Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ondo govts declare June 12 public holiday

 

 

The governments of Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ondo have declared Tuesday, June 12, as public holiday to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the annulled 1993 Presidential election adjudged to have been won by late MKO Abiola.

This is contained in statements issued bt the different states government to this effect.

Unity times recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari has on Wednesday announced June 12 as the new Democracy Day.
