Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has labelled his team as “the champions of wrong decisions”, after they won 2-0 win at West Ham on Monday night.

United benefited from at least two controversial calls at the Olympic Stadium.

Sofiane Feghouli was sent off after 15 minutes following a 50-50 challenge with Phil Jones, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goal late in the game was offside.

Mourinho insists he did not have a clear view of the red card incident, but claimed that United have had more than their fair share of poor officiating this season.

“I didn’t watch it, I don’t know. I think, if you speak about decisions, we are the champion of the wrong decisions,” He told the BBC.

Speaking with Sky Sports, Mourinho claimed the gruelling festive fixture list, may be affecting the officials too.

“I was really far and I didn’t watch it on television,” he said.

“I had to educate myself in the first half of this season because we had so many controversial decisions.

“I had to cope with frustrations, with a Zlatan goal disallowed [against Middlesbrough], a clear penalty against Crystal Palace in the last part of the game, I had to cope with many wrong decisions.

“Honestly, I think this period is also difficult for the referees. It’s fantastic for the people at home, the people who come to the stadiums, but for us, it’s hard. Even for me, and I don’t run.”
