Activities For Miss, Mr. Nigeria Launched In Abuja

Activities for the first edition of Miss and Mr. Nigerian Resources Brain Pageant which will allow young Nigerian men and women to compete
for various prices has commenced.

Even though the grand finale is expected to hold on 12 August, 2017, the programme is aimed at intensifying the awareness of economic
diversification, attract investors and create jobs opportunities.

Speaking at a press conference yesterday, the chairman of the organizers of Miss and Mr Nigerian Resources Brain Pageant, Mr. Hakeem
Sunmonu, said they were out to promote made in Nigeria goods.

“The winners will use the cars for one year for advocacy. Every contestant is a winner. People who did not win will also be made Ambassadors and Nigeria resources vanguard. Those who did not win prices will be train on various vocations. Anyone interested can register at: missandmrresources.com.ng,” Sumonu said.

Sumonu added that auditioning will hold in all the six-geopolitical zones of the country after which the winners at the zones will be
taken to Abuja for the final contest. “Each zone will contest before we bring the winners to Abuja. All the contestants will be ambassadors and potential winners,” Sumonu added.

He said two cars have been set aside for both the winners of Miss  and Mr Nigerian Resources Brain Pageant adding that, ” Apart from the cars,
the winners will go home with N1million each. The second winner will go home with N750,000 while the third winner will go home with N500
both for the men and women.” He said they have been planning for the programme for about eight years now adding that, “There is still room for more sponsors.”
