The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has dispelled insinuations in some quarters suggesting there might be a rift between President Mohammadu Buhari/Cabinet and the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
Mohammed while addressing journalists at an event in Abuja emphatically stated that there is no iota of truth in such reports.
“There is no division between the acting president and the cabinet, there is no division between the acting president and the president”
Alhaji Mohammed who said the talks about division are mere imaginary fictions aimed at distracting them and weakening the APC-led government however, noted that the administration is poised and determined in this very trying time to put in their best towards ensuring Nigeria remains one.
Recall that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) weekly meeting of Wednesday, July 12, 2017 which usually holds by 10am was shifted to 11am to allow Prof. Osinbajo who travelled to London to see Gen. Buhari on Tuesday time to return and chair the meeting.
