APC National Women Leader Expresses Regret Over Demise Of Maitama Sule

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Women Leader, Hajiya (Dr.) Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has expressed regret over the demise of foremost statesman and nationalist, Alhaji Yusuf Maitama Sule who died in an Egyptian hospital.

In a statement by the office of the National Women leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), she extended condolence to all Nigerians, and in particular, the good people of Kano State over the demise of their most venerable elder statesman.

According to the statement, the women leader said, “Dan-Massani meant many positive things to different people, but across the board, he stood for justice, equity and fair play. He was an erudite nationalist and the quintessential advocate of the masses. A detribalised Nigerian; the many lessons of his life and times will forever remain
invaluable, especially at this critical phase of our nationhood. On behalf of APC women, our hearts go out to members of his family. May Allah grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
