Nimet: Some Cities Will Experience Sunny, Hazy, Cloudy Weather On Monday 17 April

Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted that the weather condition for Monday will experience a partly cloudy condition over the central states of the country, with thundery showers over Jalingo and Ibi in the afternoon and evening.

The Agency made this known in its Weather Outlook by the Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Sunday in Abuja.

It further revealed that the day and night temperature of 30 to 39 and 18 to 26 degrees Celsius region would be experienced in the region.

Nimet predicted that there would be cloudy morning over the inland cities with chances of localised thunderstorms over the southern States like in Akure, Enugu, Awka, Abakaliki, Owerri, and Umuahia in the afternoon and evening hours.

According to the Agency, some coastal cities of Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and environs will experience localised thunderstorms with day and night temperature of 31 to 37 and 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Sunny and hazy conditions will be experienced in the northern states, with good visibility, with day and night temperature of 32 to 39 and 22 to 27 degree Celsius.

“Sunny and hazy conditions will prevail over the northern cities with chances of isolated thunderstorm activities over the southern cities in the next 48 hours,” the Agency predicted.
